January 22, 2014 , Houston - New special-edition ‘Altitude’ models of the 2014 Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and Wrangler were introduced this morning at the Houston Auto Show. Featuring unique “blacked-out” exteriors with a distinct and aggressive flair, the vehicles arrive in Jeep showrooms this spring – thanks to a positive consumer response from earlier Jeep Altitude models.

Two years ago, Jeep introduced a production-intent concept Grand Cherokee at the Houston Auto Show, and connected with customers to name the model. More than 100,000 entries were submitted by Jeep enthusiasts, with ‘Altitude’ emerging as the winning vehicle name. The brand then created a limited run of Altitude models across the Jeep lineup.

“The unique ‘blacked-out’ theme of the Jeep Altitude models resonated so well with consumers two years ago that it makes perfect sense to bring them back now, particularly since we have new versions of the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee,” said Mike Manley, President and CEO – Jeep Brand, Chrysler Group LLC. “What began as a production-intent concept and naming contest generated significant buzz and evolved into a lineup of special-edition Jeep vehicles that appeal to many consumers – especially those wanting a very distinct, aggressive and edgy look.”

January 30, 2014 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - After more than three decades together, iconic rock ‘n’ roll band Motley Crue announced its “Final Tour.” This will be the last chance to ever see the band perform live. The Dodge brand is the presenting sponsor of the tour, which begins this summer.

Motley Crue made the announcement in Los Angeles earlier this week where the band signed a formal “Cessation of Touring Agreement,” effective at the end of 2015, before celebrating the announcement with performances on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live (Tuesday) and CBS This Morning (Wednesday). The “Final Tour,” presented by Dodge and produced by Live Nation, will kick off in North America July 2 in Grand Rapids, Mich., and reach 72 markets before hitting international cities in 2015.  Rock legend Alice Cooper will join Motley Crue as a special guest for an incredible music package.

“Whenever I talk to people about Motley Crue, the common thread is how cool and relevant the band remains even after 33 years,” said Tim Kuniskis, President and CEO, Dodge Brand, Chrysler Group LLC.  “This irreverent ‘staying power’ resonates deeply with the Dodge brand as we turn the corner on our 100 year anniversary. What better way to celebrate the band’s final tour and the 25th anniversary of ‘Kickstart My Heart’ than to do it together?”

Dodge has used the band’s hit single “Kickstart My Heart” in three 30-second commercials for the Charger and Challenger as the energy of the song and band captures the spirit and energy of the brand.  “Uncle,” “Dream Job” and “Engine Note” can be seen on the brand’s YouTube channel,www.youtube.com/dodge.

With more than 80 million albums sold, Motley Crue has sold out countless tours across the globe and spawned more than 2,500 Motley Crue branded items sold in more than 30 countries. The band has proven they know how to make a lasting impression and this tour will be no different: fans can expect to hear the catalog of their chart-topping hits and look forward to mind-blowing, unparalleled live production.  “When it comes to putting together a new show we always push the envelope and that’s part of Motley Crue’s legacy,” explains Nikki Sixx (bass).  “As far as letting on to what we’re doing, that would be like finding out what you’re getting for Christmas before you open the presents.  We think in an age of too much information, we’d like to keep some surprises close to our chest until we launch the Final Tour.”

2014 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel Sets New Fuel-Economy Benchmark of 28 MPG; Ram Now Owns Top Two Spots in Pickup -Segment Rankings

$

0

February 4, 2014 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - The EcoDiesel-powered 2014 Ram 1500 has earned a 28-mpg rating from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the best highway-cycle test result ever achieved by a full-size, half-ton pickup.

It also exceeds the EPA highway rating for the top-ranked small pickup.

The breakthrough results mean Ram keeps the half-ton fuel-economy record set last year by the 2013 Ram 1500. Equipped with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 gasoline engine, the truck earned 25 mpg highway, a rating that stands for model-year 2014.

The Ram 1500 now owns the half-ton pickup segment’s top two spots in the EPA’s 2014 highway fuel-economy rankings.

“The new Ram 1500 EcoDiesel is truly in a class of it’s own with 28 MPG and the ability to tow 9200 pounds,” says Reid Bigland, President and CEO Ram Truck Brand. “To put the Ram 1500 EcoDiesel in context, it gets 6 mpg better fuel economy than the best F150 Eco-Boost. Overall, the Ram 1500 Eco-Diesel has outstanding pick-up truck capability with compact-car-like fuel economy.”

The EcoDiesel is the first and only advanced-technology turbo-diesel offering in the half-ton pickup segment. In addition to superior fuel economy, it delivers peak torque of 420 lb.-ft. (569 Nm), which is unsurpassed among full-size trucks equipped with V-6 engines.

The all-new engine’s block and bedplate are made from lightweight Compacted Graphite Iron (CGI). Its performance is enhanced by the innovative MultiJet 2 common-rail fuel-injection system, which is exclusive in North America to Chrysler Group.

MultiJet 2’s high-dispersion nozzles and advanced-technology servovalve can accommodate up to eight fuel-injection events per cylinder cycle. This mitigates noise and improves low-speed throttle response, while also reducing fuel consumption and emissions.

The all-new 3.0-liter EcoDiesel features state-of-the-art Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), high-pressure cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR), variable swirl intake ports and a variable-geometry turbocharger. All contribute to 50-state compliance with Tier 2-Bin 5/LEV II emissions regulations.

Named one of Ward’s 10 Best Engines for 2014, the EcoDiesel V-6 was a significant factor in the Ram 1500’s selection as 2014 Motor Trend Truck of the Year. The Ram 1500 is the first vehicle to win this prestigious award in back to back years.

Chrysler Group’s segment-exclusive TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission further improves the Ram 1500’s fuel efficiency. While enabling optimal engine speed in a wide range of driving conditions, the advanced-technology gearbox benefits from a thermal-management system that quickly warms transmission oil to reduce pumping losses associated with cold, low-viscosity fluid.

The 2014 Ram 1500’s efficiencies are not restricted to powertrain technologies. Other key features include:

  • Active grille shutters that optimize air flow for improved aerodynamics
  • Electric Power Steering (EPS), which relieves the engine from constantly turning a hydraulic pump
  • Thoughtful material-use strategies that leverage lightweight aluminum for components – such as hoods – that do not compromise capability

Pricing for the 2014 Ram 1500 starts at $24,200, plus $1,195 destination. The exclusive V-6 EcoDiesel with TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission is priced $2,850 greater than a similarly equipped Ram 1500 with a 5.7-liter HEMI® V-8 with TorqueFlite 8-speed transmission.

Ordering for EcoDiesel models begins Feb. 7.

The 2014 Ram 1500 is backed with an unsurpassed five-year /100,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty. The powertrain-limited warranty, which is transferrable, covers the cost of all parts and labor needed to repair a covered powertrain component – engine, transmission and drive system.

The standard three-year / 36,000-mile Basic Limited Warranty provides bumper-to-bumper coverage for the Ram 1500, from the body to the electrical system.

The 2014 Ram 1500 is built at the Warren Truck Assembly Plant (Warren, Mich.), which has assembled more than 12.5 million trucks since it started operations in 1938. Regular Cab models of the 2014 Ram 1500 are built at the Saltillo Truck Assembly Plant in Saltillo, Mexico.

The FIAT Brand to Debut New Fiat 500L Global Advertising Campaign “Mirage” Featuring Sean “Diddy” Combs

February 12, 2014 , Auburn Hills, MI - FIAT Brand North America will launch a new global advertising campaign featuring entertainment powerhouse Sean “Diddy” Combs this week entitled “Mirage.”  The advertising campaign, which debuts across television beginning on Thursday, February 13, introduces the new Fiat 500L tagline, “Unbelievably Big.”  The commercial, which will run nationally and internationally, can be viewed at FIAT USA YouTube page.

“Given the huge role that both pop culture and music play for the FIAT brand, the opportunity to work with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs on ‘Mirage’ made as much sense as taking water into the desert,” said Olivier Francois, Chief Marketing Officer, Chrysler Group LLC. and Fiat Group Automobiles Head of Fiat Brand.  “Like the Fiat 500L, Sean has shown the ability to think unbelievably big, as evidenced recently by the launch of REVOLT.”

“The Fiat 500L is a great addition to our portfolio and is expanding our brand’s presence in the U.S. market,” said Jason Stoicevich, Head of FIAT brand North America, Chrysler Group LLC. “With two more doors, comfortable accommodations for five and 42 percent more interior space than our regular 500, the Fiat 500L offers the modern Italian style that our customers love while adding new levels of flexibility comfort and convenience to fit their active lifestyle.”

In the new commercial, two guys, lost and desperate in the desert, witness two Fiat 500Ls pass by, one with “Diddy” inside, who calls out to them, but they dismiss him as a mirage.  The pair ultimately stumbles upon a desert oasis where an unbelievable party hosted by REVOLT is in full gear. “Diddy” greets them and encouragingly says, “Welcome to the soiree.” However, the pair rejects his invitation to the party, attributing the whole thing again as a mirage, after pointing specifically to the Fiat 500L, believing that “FIAT doesn’t make a four-door car.”

The commercial challenges the notion that the FIAT brand only makes small cars. Further highlighted by the tagline “Unbelievably Big,” the Fiat 500L expands the FIAT showroom, offering the consumer with additional choices that best meets their needs.  More information can be found at www.fiatusa.com.

Combs’ recently launched REVOLT, www.revolt.tv, is the new #1 name in music. Available on Comcast’s Xfinity TV and Time Warner Cable, the multi-genre, multi-platform music network delivers music news in real-time, and the best of the best in music programming. A “social by design” network built to play at the speed of social media, REVOLT is live, direct, and always on — anytime, anywhere, any screen.

Exclusive behind-the-scenes video of the making of the “Mirage” commercial will be also released daily through REVOLT’s Instagram account after the commercial premieres on television, with an extended look to be available at www.youtube.com/revolttv.

“Happy,” the Academy® Award-nominated song performed by American singer and producer Pharrell Williams, from the “Despicable Me 2” soundtrack album, plays in the background of the party.

“Mirage” was created in partnership by full-service advertising agency, Doner.

CanadianBlackBook.com has released its annual “Best Retained Value” winners

JP013_003WR__midCanadianBlackBook.com has released its annual “Best Retained Value” winners across 19 vehicle categories; Check our New and Used Vehicle inventory for some of the winners!

The prestigious awards track vehicle values over a four-year period, with the organization’s analysts scouring hundreds of thousands of sales transactions and other data points from live auctions, online auctions, dealerships and other proprietary sources.

This year’s awards measure how well 2010 model year vehicles have held their value through December 2013. “Best Retained Value” awards shine a light on those vehicles which are shown to hold their value the best based on recent performance. This often points to vehicles which depreciate the least.

Consistency is the theme for the 2014 awards. Toyota leads the pack with the most wins, two of its models earning top honours for the 5th consecutive year. ChryslerHonda and Subaru also racked up repeat 1st place finishes, all for at least three years running.

“Although CanadianBlackBook.com proclaims the winners, in effect, it’s the Canadian car buyer who decides who wins our Best Retained Value awards,” says Josh Bailey, Vice-President, Research & Editorial for Canadian Black Book. “In the end, it is consumer perceptions and how much they’re prepared to pay for cars and trucks that ultimately determine how much a vehicle is worth.”

Bailey notes that some of the key factors in a vehicle consistently retaining value relate to brand perception and reputation. “Consumers are looking for reliable, durable, high quality vehicles and certainly, most of our repeat winners fit the bill,” he says.

CanadianBlackBook.com names 1st, 2nd and 3rd place “Best Retained Value” award winners in 19 popular car and truck categories. Toyota’s Prius, Avalon, Tacoma, Tundra, FJ Cruiser, Sequoia and the Lexus GS, all posted 1st place finishes. Among domestic manufacturers, Chrysler chalked up the best performance, with the Jeep Wrangler winning Compact SUV for the 4th year in a row. Dodge‘s Challenger meanwhile, was deemed “Best Retained Value” in the sport scar category for the third consecutive year. Two first place finishes each by Porsche and Mercedes helped European manufacturers double the number of awards secured this year compared to 2013.

No. 93 SRT Viper GTS-R Records Third-Fastest Overall Lap in GTLM
February 21, 2014 , Sebring, Fla. - The SRT ® (Street and Racing Technology) Motorsports No. 93 SRT Viper GTS-R recorded the third-fastest overall GTLM-class lap time of 2:00.496 (111.738 mph) during two days of testing at Sebring International Raceway that concluded on Friday in preparation for the upcoming 12 Hours of Sebring, March 12 – 15.

SRT Motorsports drivers Jonathan Bomarito and Marc Goossens participated in all four scheduled practice sessions in the No. 93 SRT Viper GTS-R on Thursday and Friday. Each day featured morning and afternoon test sessions that spanned more than two hours each in preparation for the second event of the IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship schedule at Florida’s legendary Sebring road course.

  • The SRT Motorsports No. 93 SRT Viper GTS-R recorded the third-fastest GTLM overall lap time of 2:00.496 (111.738 mph) across four test sessions in Thursday afternoon’s test. The lap was also the second-quickest GTLM time of that session.
  • The team’s second-best showing in one of the sessions came in Friday afternoon’s fourth and final practice of the test when the No. 93 SRT Viper team posted a best lap time of 2:01.099 (111.182 mph) to rank fifth among GTLM entries.
  • The two-day test was the final IMSA-sanctioned GTLM test session for series competitors prior to the 12 Hours of Sebring, March 12 – 15.
  • The SRT Viper GTS-Rs finished fifth and 10th at Sebring in 2013 and the race marked the first event in the first-full season for SRT Motorsports since returning to sports car racing with the Viper.
  • In the 2014 season-opening Rolex 24 At Daytona, the No. 91 and 93 Viper GTS-Rs finished third and sixth, respectively, and the No. 91 claimed the GTLM pole position. Both SRT Viper entries and all six SRT Motorsports drivers led the GTLM class during the race.
  • The No. 91 SRT Viper GTS-R did not participate in the Sebring Winter Test.

SRT Motorsports Driver and Team Quotes

Jonathan Bomarito, driver, No. 93 SRT Viper GTS-R
How was the test?
“It was a very positive test just from a systems point of view. We had a lot of things to try – not necessarily making the car go as quick as we could. Toward the end of the day, we started putting all those pieces together and working on pace and race stuff, but we got through a lot of stuff. The guys did an awesome job. The car ran perfect for two days and I think we have a good race car. A couple of our competitors went pretty quick there at the end, but we’re still pretty optimistic and positive looking forward.”

What did you learn in last year’s 12 Hours of Sebring?
“Last year in the 93 car was my first 12 Hours of Sebring. It’s a tough race. You think, ‘Oh, well 12 hours is half as long as a 24, so it should be half as hard.’ It’s equally as hard as a 24-hour race. It’s very physical. It’s bumpy. It’s usually pretty warm and humid and takes a toll on the man and machine, but I learned a lot as a driver what to do physically for the race. We had some bad luck here last year. We had a drive pin issue – we lost some laps and it kind of ended our race – but we pushed through and we had a good car and I feel very confident for the race coming up.”

Marc Goossens, driver, No. 91 SRT Viper GTS-R
How did you prepare for the test?
“In the beginning of this week, we were in Markham close to Toronto for simulator work. Spent some good time with Kuno (Wittmer, co-driver of the No. 91) together and Matt (Bejnarowicz, lead engineer of the No. 93), Jim Kasprzak (track engineer for the No. 93) and Tyler (Hook, track engineer for the No. 91) were there to help with engineering. We learned a lot in the simulator and then we came here, carried it over, tried to confirm and then take on the next step with regards to the testing program. I think everything is on schedule. We just have to bridge that gap to the leaders now.”

How was the test?
“We were kind of surprised by the speed the top guys were doing in GTLM – really surprised – but then again, you never know what people are testing when you come here for two days. We had a nice test program laid out prior to coming here. I’m not going to tell you that we panicked yesterday, but that first morning session with all the red flags there was a lot of stoppages going on. We were kind of worried that if that would have kept going on for two days we would have a hard time going through our program. Luckily enough today, the weather stayed good and we didn’t have so many red flags. From everything that we worked on prior to coming here – the whole program that we lined up – we could go through all that. With what we learned and what we found for an ideal platform, we could actually start working on fine-tuning toward the end, but it’s all a matter of what the track conditions are. Yesterday to today with the heat, it was such a big difference. Once again, we were very, very surprised about the performance of the guys in the front. Hopefully we have enough for them by the team we come here for the race.”

Bill Riley, lead engineer, No. 91 SRT Viper GTS-R
How was the test?
“I think the team worked well. The cars all ran pretty flawlessly – we didn’t have any mechanical issues to keep us from running, which is pretty good. The car had a good test and ran a lot of laps. We went through a bunch of different things and we’re not where we want to be speed-wise, but the car is comfortable to drive. We just have to see what happens for the 12 Hours.  I think we have a strong pace, so we can for run a long time, but we just have to see – on ultimate pace, we’ll just have to see where we’re at.  All of the normal unknowns.”

How does this test allow you to prepare your race setup?
“Setup is a challenge here at Sebring for a lot of reasons. You have (turn) 17, which has some huge bumps to deal with. Turn one is always challenging and then you have the pavement that changes from the backside of the track to the concrete part of the track and then you have the IndyCar rubber that they put down on the test course on top. You’re really fighting quite a few different challenges throughout this event.

Matt Bejnarowicz, lead engineer, No. 93 SRT Viper GTS-R
Did you get to where you need to be during the test?
“Our competitors are looking pretty fast, but we definitely got pretty happy drivers and I think we made a lot of small steps in the test. Whether it’s going to be enough for the race, we’ll have to find out.”

Have there been any surprises?
“No, not really, actually. We unloaded and we’re getting to the point where we’ve got a lot of experience under our belt and we’ve been to tracks several times now, so we unloaded at a pretty good state and our drivers were pretty happy right of the bat. I think we progressed through the test. I think we probably chased the track a little bit. I don’t know if our lap times reflect the improvements we made in the car, but I wouldn’t say there were any big surprises. The big unknown I think is a little bit of tire compatibility – we’re not really sure how the Michelin tires work with Continental rubber down on the track and I think we keep on seeing a little bit of influence there, but that’s hard to quantify.”

February 19, 2014 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - On the heels of EPA’s certification of 28 MPG, Ram Truck opened the initial order allocation for the 2014 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel to receive a flood of orders from dealers across the nation. More than 8,000 trucks equipped with the fuel-sipping engine that packs 420 lb.-ft. of torque have been placed—just over 50 percent of the total mix. Even more surprising is the amount of orders already paid for by customers— twice the corporate average of sold customer orders on a truck that customers have yet to test drive.

“The Ram 1500 is the only half-ton truck available with a diesel, so we see this as incremental business by having the only truck that can offer best-in-class fuel economy of 28 MPG combined with 9,200 lbs. of towing capacity,” said Reid Bigland, President and CEO — Ram Truck Brand, Chrysler Group LLC. “It’s every truck manufacturer’s dream to have this kind of initial order demand for a product. Fuel economy is the No. 1 request of half-ton buyers and the Ram 1500 EcoDiesel delivers without compromising capability.”

The EcoDiesel-powered 2014 Ram 1500 has earned a 28-mpg rating from the U.S.

Production of the 2014 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel began in February with a group of specialized trucks in popular configurations. Normal processes place the initial build under quality review to assure every truck meets or exceeds targets. Shipping is expected in March, keeping the planned delivery within the first quarter of 2014.

Although Ram has reached its first planned order allocation numbers in three days, customers who special order the new truck will have priority in the build. Orders for dealer stocking will be filled once sold customer orders are filled. The next order allocation of Ram 1500 EcoDiesel trucks will open in early March.

The magazine chose Dodge “for being part of the conversation, no matter what” as exemplified by many brand initiatives that delivered results, including its recent Dodge Durango advertising campaign featuring Ron Burgundy (Will Farrell), the fictional character in Paramount Picture’s “Anchorman” movie franchise. The ads helped lift Durango sales 59 percent in October 2013.

“How exciting to be recognized by Fast Company, an innovator and leader in its own right, and to be among such a prestigious group of world-renown companies,” said Olivier Francois, Chief Marketing Officer, Chrysler Group LLC. “The campaigns and partnerships we create for each of our brands are as individual and different as the brands themselves. The Dodge initiatives Fast Company highlighted convey a mind-set that is purely Dodge.”

“Muscle cars to multi-passenger vehicles, Dodge gives you performance and technology with an attitude and presence that transforms an everyday vehicle into a personal statement,” said Tim Kuniskis, President and CEO, Dodge Brand. “In an industry that is getting more and more commoditized, we capture this brand attitude and swagger in our marketing recipe to spark conversation and consideration.”

Fast Company also saluted Dodge for product placements and partnerships, reaching “nearly every type of driver,” that resulted in “people taking notice.” Dodge brand sales were up 14 percent in 2013 marking 14 consecutive months of year-over-year sales growth.

Other brand initiatives last year included partnering with Universal Pictures on the “Fast & Furious 6″ movie, the SyFy channel for its “Defiance” TV series, and a partnership with international music superstar Pitbull for Dodge Dart ads targeting multicultural millennial consumers.

IMG_2914Fast Company’s annual Most Innovative Companies issue honors businesses including Google, Amazon, Airbnb and Nike (last year’s Most Innovative Company), along with such rising newcomers as GoPro, GoldieBlox, and FitBit. The Most Innovative Companies is Fast Company’s most significant, high profile editorial effort of the year. The editorial team spends months gathering and sifting data to identify those enterprises that exemplify the best in business from across the economy and around the world. The end result is a package that dares to be different, emphasizing not just revenue growth and profit margins but also progressive, sustainable business models and an ethos of creativity.

“The culture of innovation across the globe is more robust than ever,” reports Fast Company editor Robert Safian, who identifies 12 lessons of innovation for 2014 within the issue. “To win in such a fast-changing environment requires a new kind of business agility.”

February 13, 2014 , Toronto, Ontario - The all-new 2014 Jeep® Cherokee has been crowned the “2014 Canadian Utility Vehicle of the Year,” by the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC), besting 18 rivals, including two other top finalists and vehicles which can carry six-figure price tags.

The exciting announcement came today at a press conference during media day for the 2014 Canadian International Autoshow in Toronto, Ontario.

This third-party, expert recognition of the all-new Jeep Cherokee as the 2014 Canadian Utility Vehicle of the Year comes as the culmination of AJAC’s 26th-annual Canadian Car of the Year (CCOTY) awards program.

It began in October 2013, with 80 top-level automotive journalists from across the country gathering in Niagara Falls, Ontario for “TestFest.” The highly-regarded annual event saw journalists drive and vote on 174 new or significantly changed vehicles back-to-back on the same day, under the same conditions, on closed and public roads.

In early December, the 2014 Jeep Cherokee was named AJAC’s “Best New SUV/CUV Under $35,000,” beating out a quartet of rivals from one of the country’s most popular and hard-fought vehicle segments and earning a shot at the 2014 Canadian Utility Vehicle of the Year crown.

The “TestFest” voting results are not the personal opinion of just one journalist. Rather, they are a combination of objective data and evaluation entered on secret ballots by those 80 expert members. The results are tabulated by accounting firm KPMG and were kept secret until the winners were announced today.

“From our engineers, to our management, to the people on the assembly line and everyone in between, I can’t truly express how excited we at Chrysler Group are to see the all-new Jeep Cherokee named 2014 Canadian Utility Vehicle of the Year by AJAC,” said Reid Bigland, President and CEO, Chrysler Canada. “To achieve this honour amongst such diverse and worthy competition is both humbling and a reinforcement of our goal to completely redefine what Canadians should expect from an affordable, mid-size SUV. Whether through its cutting-edge design, class-exclusive tech like a segment-first nine-speed automatic transmission, legendary Jeep 4×4 capability or more than 70 advanced safety and security features, the 2014 Cherokee is resonating well with consumers.”

This latest product from the world-famous Jeep brand, Cherokee is manufactured in Toledo, Ohio and is the first Jeep built upon the Compact U.S. Wide (CUS-wide) platform co-developed with Chrysler Group’s corporate partner Fiat S.p.A.

Other highlights of the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee include:

  • A 2.4-litre Tigershark MultiAir I-4 engine, delivering a more than 45-per cent fuel economy improvement versus the outgoing Jeep Liberty model and nearly 800 kilometres of driving range
  • The first use of Chrysler Group’s new 3.2-litre Pentastar™ V6 engine
  • Best-in-class capability via three new four-wheel-drive systems
  • A new Jeep Selec-Terrain traction control system with up to five customized modes – Auto, Snow, Sport, Sand/Mud and Rock
  • Best-in-class V6 towing capability – 4,500 pounds
  • World-class craftsmanship with an exceptionally quiet cabin
  • A full-colour 7-inch reconfigurable TFT instrument cluster
  • A UconnectTM 8.4-inch colour touchscreen media centre
  • The first Chrysler Group use of Parallel/Perpendicular Park Assist System aids the driver in parallel/perpendicular parking
